Benoît d’Humières graduated in Physics and Chemistry from the ESPCI Paris – PSL and the Sorbonne University. He is an expert in Optics, Electronics and Instrumentation for industrial and research applications.

In 1991, after some years of research at the University of Florida, he became an innovation consultant. He has run many marketing and technological studies for companies of any size and Research institutions.
Benoît has also taught the marketing of photonic technologies at the Institut d’optique-Graduate School (Palaiseau, France).

Dr. Thierry Robin has over 20 years’ experience in both technology innovation and marketing in the optics and photonics industry, running many projects with prominent players in defense and security, biomedical optics, and industry.

As founder of TEMATYS, he is an expert in optical devices, components and systems (instrumentation, optronics, lasers, sensors …) for various applications.

Thierry graduated from Ecole Polytechnique, Paris (France). He holds a master’s degree from Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris (France) and a PhD from the Physics Center of Ecole Polytechnique.

After a degree received from the Ecole des Mines of Nancy (France), he started his career as a consultant for the European Commission.
In 2000, he joined OPTICSVALLEY, the photonics cluster of Paris as Project Manager. In 2004, he became Senior consultant at TYKYA before being one of the founder of TEMATYS.

Jacques has run more than 70 marketing and technological studies for photonics companies (Cilas, Genoptics / JobinYvon Horiba…), photonics clusters and R&D laboratories (CEA, CNRS, Paris VI Pierre & Maris Curie, GeorgiaTech, Institute of telecom Paris…). Jacques has published more than 20 articles in business press dedicated to laser and photonics (laser focus world, Biophotonics, Optik & Photonik…).

After some years in technical developments of innovative products, he became international business development or sales director for large companies, SME and start up.

Since 2011 and applying the innovative method, Dominique develops the business of several companies in the field of microelectronic, infrared sensors, MEMS, laser components and systems, optical fiber and nanotechnology. The main territories covered by Dominique are : China, Japan, Korea, North of Europe, Canada and USA.

Dominique graduated from the I.S.E.P. engineering school, Paris, France and received his PhD in Physics from the Fundamental Research Laboratory (French Atomic Agency, CEA) & Université Grenoble Alpes (France).


Jacek Kulakowski

He acquired a Master of Science in Physics from Warsaw University of Technology (major Photonics). During his studies he made an exchange programme at Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany.

He started his professional career from joining VIGO System – the leading manufacturer of photon infrared detectors – where he was responsible for supporting the customers and salesmen in the application knowledge. He is managing the production and sales of TEMATYS’ reports.

 

Reda Berrada

He acquired an engineering degree in photonics and optronic system from the University Paris Saclay. During his studies, he made an exchange program at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada.

He worked on various optical setup systems in governmental research facilities, in laser wakefield acceleration (LPGP laboratory in Paris), and the characterisation of Opto-Thermal micro-lenses in living organism in the Institut de la Vision in Paris.
