In the demanding world of mid-IR spectroscopy, a lot of efforts are being made to improve the optic coupling of lasers and mid-IR fibres. On this front, Tematys has recently participated in an applied study and has identified industrial partners and initiated first contacts with Le Verre Fluoré and ICube Strasbourg who are diligently working in this field with new and improved developments especially to produce compact, robust and low-cost gas detectors.
