Tematys welcomes yet another new member – Kimon Moratis, PhD as a Photonics Market Analyst.
After graduating from University of Crete, Greece with a Materials Science and Technology degree, he obtained his Masters in Microsystems and Nanodevices from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece. He then pursued a PhD working on a joint project between Institut Néel- CNRS and CEA, Grenoble. Following his thesis, he worked as a post-doctoral researcher in INSP-CNRS/Sorbonne Université, C2N-CNRS and MPQ-Université Paris Cité, France. For more than 10 years, he has worked on different research projects focusing on the design, fabrication and characterization of semiconductor devices and nanostructures with applications in Photonics, Optoelectronics and Quantum Technologies.
